asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a public telephone kiosk will be provided in, or in the vicinity of College Park, Terenure, Dublin 6, having regard to the fact that the nearest kiosk is located in Templeogue village which is quite some distance away.
It is planned to provide a kiosk at Fortfield Park, Templeogue, to replace the kiosk formerly situated on Templeville Road. The kiosk will serve the needs of the general area including College Park.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone repairs will be carried out for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin as his telephone has been out of order since February, 1981.
What is involved in this instance is the re-provision of service, service having been withdrawn on 12 November 1980 for non-payment of an account. The re-provision of service is dependent on clearance of another account due.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason there has been a two-year delay in arranging a telephone transfer for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin when neighbours of the applicant who have only moved in in the past year were, as new applicants, supplied with a telephone recently.
I regret that a problem arose in connection with the cable allocated to the applicant named. The problem has been resolved and service will be provided within the next few weeks.

It has not been possible to trace an application on behalf of the person named. If the Deputy can furnish further details, e.g. when and where the application was made, a further search will be made.
