The cattle headage grant under the 1981 disadvantaged areas schemes was paid to the person named on 12 February 1982. His grant under the 1981-82 EEC suckler cow premium scheme will be paid shortly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange for the immediate payment of the balance of a sheep subsidy which is due to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
The question of paying additional grants under the 1981 sheep headage scheme to the person named will be considered when, as requested on 6 November 1981, he submits a declaration regarding rented lands.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in paying a cattle headage grant to a farmer (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will confirm that arrangements are now being made for payment.
Payments under the 1981 disadvantaged areas schemes are still continuing and outstanding cases are being cleared as quickly as possible. The person named will be paid his grant shortly.
