This is a matter for RTE in the first place who say that the area in question is served by the transposer station at Spur Hill and only RTE1 programmes are broadcast from this station at present. RTE plan to carry out experimental transmissions in the Cork area this year to determine how best the technical difficulties in providing RTE2 might be resolved.
