The person named was paid for the maximum of 30 livestock units under the 1981 cattle headage scheme. As the applicant also has sheep and as sheep livestock units are higher in value than cattle units, a further amount is payable in this case and the balance due will be paid shortly to the applicant.

It is a condition for the payment of grants to development farmers under the farm modernisation scheme that an extract of farm accounts is submitted for each year of the plan. As the applicant in this case is a development farmer the grant cannot be paid until the necessary extracts are furnished.
