The entire sum of money made available to my Department for the implementation of the community, youth, recreational and employment programme was committed to the 82 projects selected for assistance under this programme by the former Minister of State. At present there are no further funds available to me from which supplementary assistance could be provided to the projects selected or from which aid could be provided for additional projects.
