In April 1981, my Department authorised the Commissioners of Public Works to invite tenders for the proposed extension to Galmoy national school, County Kilkenny. I understand from the commissioners that they expect to invite tenders at an early date.

asked the Minister for Education if he is yet in a position to make a final decision on the provision of shared area facilities, hall carpets, roof repairs, and so on, at St. Finian's national school, Finglas South, Dublin 11.
My Department are at present considering an inspector's report concerning the shared areas facilities in St. Finian's national school, Finglas South, Dublin 11 and also concerning the replacement of the carpet in the general purposes room at the school. A report concerning repairs to the roof is awaited from the Commissioners of Public Works.
