With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 6, 7, 8 and 9 together.

In 1981 the value of trade with these countries was: United States of America: Imports £767.9 million, Exports £304.0 million; Soviet Union: Imports £31.6 million, Exports £24.6 million; Great Britain: Imports £2,933.9 million, Exports £1,587.9 million; Argentina: Imports £6.0 million, Exports £9.5 million.

I would like to ask the Minister about the reply to Question Nos. 8 and 9. Does he anticipate there will be any alteration in these figures in view of the stand we have taken in regard to the Falkland crisis?

I could not say.

This is a statistical question.

Was consideration given to this before the Irish stand was decided?

That is a policy question. I have given the statistical information sought for 1981.
