asked the Minister for Agriculture the present position in relation to the acquisition of the Clarke Estate, Tynagh, Loughrea, County Galway.
Possession of this estate passed to the Land Commission in 1979 but, shortly afterwards, the former owner resumed occupation of the lands. The Land Commission then instituted legal proceedings to regain clear possession and these proceedings are now at an advanced stage.
