I have made inquiries from the Eastern Health Board regarding the case referred to by the Deputy.
I am informed by the Eastern Health Board that the applicant was considered ineligible for payment of a disabled person's maintenance allowance but that the application is now being reviewed. A decision in the matter will be made without delay.
