Under the Housing Regulations, 1980, (as amended), the latest date for completion of works and the receipt, in my Department, of claims for payment was 30 June 1981. As this statutory requirement was not complied with in this case a grant cannot be paid. An affidavit made after the relevant closing date does not fulfil this requirement.
