On the recommendation of a working party representative of the Department of Health, the health boards and the Irish Dental Association on the development of the dental services, five full-time posts of orthodontist have been created to serve the country as a whole. The posts are to be located in Dublin, Cork, Sligo, Waterford and Galway. I am hopeful that it will be possible to proceed with the filling of the posts soon.
