The claim for compensation in question, which arose as a result of works on the Maigue catchment drainage scheme, is being examined at present by the Commissioners of Public Works in accordance with the relevant sections of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945. They expect to discuss the matter with the claimant's solicitors in the course of the next week or two.
