asked the Minister for Agriculture the present position in relation to the payment of a grant under the farm modernisation scheme to a person (details supplied) in Loughrea, County Galway.
The local office of the Department have not been notified by the applicant that the work has been completed. When notification is received a final inspection will be carried out and if the work is satisfactorily completed the grant will be paid without delay.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a grant under the farm modernisation scheme for concrete works etc. will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Rathmoyle, County Kilkenny; and whether the work was inspected and passed last January.
The grant will be paid when the work has been satisfactorily completed and provided that the other conditions of the scheme have been complied with.

The local office of the Department were notified on 11 June 1982 that work has been completed. An inspection will now be carried out and if the work is satisfactorily completed the grant will be paid without delay.
