An application for assistance under my Department's temporary grant scheme for youth employment was received from Athenry golf club in May of this year. Following consideration of this application in my Department, I am pleased to let you know that I have sanctioned a grant of £1,440 in this case to provide employment, for a period of 12 weeks, for two young unemployed people to carry out improvements to the golf course in Athenry.
