I propose to circulate a statement giving the information requested by the Deputy. The figures for 1961 and 1971 are taken directly from the results of the Census of Industrial Production for these years. The figures for 1981 have been estimated on the basis of the results for 1977 updated to 1981 levels using industrial production volume and price indices.
