The Order of St. Mary of the Angel's, Beaufort, County Kerry recently submitted to my Department a proposal to develop hostels in Killarney for mentally handicapped adults. The proposal is being examined in consultation with the Souther Health Board and a decision on whether revenue funds can be allocated to the project will be conveyed to the Order as soon as possible.
