A committee representative of my Department, of school management, of teachers and of parents is being established to consider the question of discipline in schools and to make recommendations.
My Department have written to the various recognised teacher and managerial groups inviting them to nominate persons to serve on the committee. When these nominations have been received arrangements for the establishment of the committee will be finalised.
