Almost 700 applications for capital grant assistance, including an application from Whitehall and District Community Association were received under my Department's Community, Youth, Recreational and Employment Programme. All funds placed at my Department's disposal for the purposes of this programme were fully committed by the former Minister of State, and Whitehall and District Community Association was not nominated for assistance by him.
