While a claim for payment was received in this case, there is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a grant. In order to qualify for a grant under the solid fuel scheme it was necessary to make application on or before 21 January 1980.

A solid fuel grant of £280 was paid in this case on 21 January 1980 and was based on my Department's approved costs for the works involved. No further payment is due to the applicant.
