Applications for the appointment of remedial teachers received from the authorities of national schools are considered with due regard to all relevant circumstances, such as the size of school, the existing level of staffing and the perceived need for exceptional measures in the case of the particular school.
An application for the appointment of a remedial teacher was received from the school referred to in the question in April 1982 but it was not found feasible in all the circumstances to approve an appointment.
