Vol. 339 No. 9

Written Answers. - Telephone Service.

260.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of public telephones provided to serve the Boot and Commons Road area of Clondalkin, County Dublin; and which of these are in working order.

There are two kiosks at present to serve the Boot and Commons Road area of Clondalkin. Both kiosks are in working order.

261.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason a telephone kiosk was erected by his Department a considerable time ago at Messrs Quinnsworth's premises, Boot Road, Clondalkin, County Dublin, with no telephone provided in it.

The kiosk will be brought into service shortly. The reason for the delay has been that the method of providing service originally planned did not prove practicable and alternative arrangements had to be made.

262.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.
