It is a condition under the farm modernisation scheme that a project to be grant aided must form part of a farm plan. As the project in this case is not on the farm plan it is not eligible for grant aid.

It is a condition for payment of grants to development farmers under the farm modernisation scheme that an extract of farm accounts is submitted for each year of the farm development plan.
The applicant in this case is a development farmer. As the relevant farm accounts extract has not been received for 1979 he has forfeited entitlement to the development rate of grant and to the special aids available to development farmers. Arrangements are being made for payment at an early date of the grant due at the lower rate. A deduction will be made in respect of grants paid previously at the development rate.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if a grant under the farm modernisation scheme at the higher rate will be paid to a person (Details supplied) in County Wexford as the work was completed and passed in February, and again in June 1982 by his Department's inspector.
The applicant is in the "other high" category and is eligible for the rate of grant applying to that category only for a period of six years from his admission to the scheme. He has now completed the six-year period and his position under the scheme must, therefore, be reassessed by the local ACOT advisory service. When the outcome of the reassessment is received and provided that the project forms part of his farm plan his case will be dealt with without delay.

The person named has been asked to reapply for cattle headage as his original application has been mislaid. As soon as a fresh application is received it will be processed and payment of cattle headage grants will be made without delay.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a grant for the erection of a slurry pit, silage pit and milking parlour under the farm modernisation scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.
The local office of the Department has not yet been notified by the applicant that the work has been completed. When notification is received a final inspection will be carried out and if the work is satisfactorily completed the grant will be paid without delay.

A grant in respect of land improvement work was paid in November 1982. There is an approval outstanding since 1978 for other land improvement work but the local office of the Department has not yet been notified by the applicant that the work has been completed. When notification is received an inspection will be carried out and if the work is satisfactorily completed the grant will be paid when the normal processing procedures have been completed.

He will be paid 1982 EEC Suckler Cow Premium in April 1983 when the six months period for retention of cows specified in that scheme expires for all applicants.

It is a condition of the 1982 cattle headage scheme in the disadvantaged areas that the total off-farm income of an applicant and spouse must not exceed £5,415 for the income tax year ended 5 April 1982.
The person named has been asked for details of off-farm earnings and his application will be dealt with when this information is furnished.

This relates to an application for an interest subsidy under the national interest subsidy scheme. It is a condition of the scheme that loans to be eligible must have been contracted during the period from 1 January 1976 to 31 December 1980. As the borrowings in this case were contracted outside this period they are not eligible for subsidy under the scheme.
