With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I propose to take Questions Nos. 1 to 6, inclusive, together. My Department have acquired a site at Tymon North for a post-primary school to serve the Kilnamanagh area. The questions of an opening and a pupil capacity for the proposed school are under review in my Department at present in the light of enrolments for the 1982-83 school year in primary and post-primary schools in the area. It is not possible to state at present, therefore, what the pupil capacity of the proposed school will be and when construction of the building will commence.

The number of pupils estimated to reach the stage of entry to post-primary education in the Kilnamanagh area over the next three years is as follows: 1983, 43; 1984, 82; 1985, 72.
