, (Dún Laoghaire): By agreement, it is proposed to interrupt business now and to suspend Standing Orders under Standing Order 139 (1) to enable the Minister for Labour and a spokesman for each of the parties in opposition to make statements, not exceeding 15 minutes in each case, on the report in relation to the dispute at Ranks (Ireland) Limited, to allow not less than five minutes in total for statements from the Independents, to enable the Minister to make a reply not exceeding ten minutes. The Minister will be called on to conclude not later than 4.50 pm and the Order of Business will not be resumed thereafter.
