Discussions have taken place between officers of my Department and the Southern Health Board regarding the development of a new unit at Fermoy Hospital.
Following these discussions, I have received further proposals from the Southern Health Board on how the scheme might be proceeded with as a matter of urgency. I am examining these proposals at the moment and my Department will be in touch with the Southern Health Board very shortly on the matter.
