I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of information supplied by the taxpayer on 2 March 1983, the inspector of taxes has issued a cumulative certificate of tax-free allowances. When this certificate is operated by the employer, all of the tax which has been over-deducted from the taxpayer's earnings since the commencement of the current tax year will be refunded.
