asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry if he will give the following information in respect of each personal assistant, adviser, consultant, secretary, typist or any other category employed from outside the civil service in a temporary, part-time or permanent capacity or contractual capacity, for the period 18 December 1982 to date: name, rank, remuneration, terms of conditions of employment, if seconded, and, if so, from where.

Two such appointments have been made.

1. Name: Eileen Grogan; Rank: Personal Secretary to Minister; Remuneration: Existing weekly wage of £135.93 plus temporary non-pensionable allowance of £11 per week; Terms of conditions of employment: A temporary unestablished full-time capacity under an excluding order issued by the Civil Service Commissioners for the period up to 15 December 1983; Secondment: On secondment from Houses of the Oireachtas.

2. Name: Jane Walsh; Rank: Personal Secretary to Minister of State; Remuneration: Existing weekly wage of £114.06 plus temporary non-pensionable allowance of £11 per week; Terms of conditions of employment: A temporary unestablished full-time capacity under an excluding order issued by the Civil Service Commissioners for the period up to 15 December 1983; Secondment: On secondment from Houses of the Oireachtas.

asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht if he will give the following information in respect of each personal assistant, adviser, consultant, secretary, typist or any other category employed from outside the civil service in a temporary, part-time or permanent capacity or contractual capacity, for the period 18 December 1982 to date: name, rank, remuneration, terms of conditions of employment, if seconded, and, if so, from where.

asked the Minister for Transport if he will give the following information in respect of each personal assistant, adviser, consultant, secretary, typist or any other category employed from outside the civil service in a temporary, part-time or permanent capacity or contractual capacity, for the period 18 December 1982 to date: name, rank, remuneration, terms of conditions of employment, if seconded, and, if so, from where.

I refer the Deputy to my reply of 26 January 1983. Since then Mr. H. Hannon has been employed from 21 February 1983 as a special adviser in a temporary part-time capacity at a salary of £12,000 per annum.
