asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the special circumstances, he will provide a telephone service immediately to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.

It is expected that service will be provided within about six months.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the special circumstances, he will arrange to have a telephone repaired immediately for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin in view of the reply to a parliamentary question on 23 March 1982, that a service would be provided in about a year.

It was expected that the necessary engineering work to enable this application to be met would have been completed by now. It is regretted that this was not possible because of the need to divert staff to other urgent work. Present indications are that it will not be possible to provide the service until the latter part of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will take immediate action to restore a telephone service for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 14 as it has been out of order for approximately four weeks.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin as she is an elderly lady who is in ill health and who applied for a telephone some years ago.

Service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that the necessary engineering work can be completed before the latter part of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be transferred for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10 who has been waiting five years for service; and the reason for the delay, considering that 23 jobs will be lost within the next week if service is not provided.

It is understood that the company named has cancelled its application for removal of telephone service to the address quoted.
