My Department has sanctioned grants towards the cost of the provision of a prefabricated classroom and the installation of an oil-fired heating system at Galbally national school, Co. Wexford. Payment of these grants is a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works. The Commissioners have been requested to expedite payment.
Further work and the provision of furniture has been approved and the payment of grants is under consideration in my Department. An early decision will be conveyed to the chairman.
