: The bulk of the furniture required was delivered by one contractor to Holy Family national school, Cootehill, in 1980, in conjunction with the erection of an extension to the school.
A small quantity of furniture due to be delivered by another contractor was not supplied due to difficulties which arose subsequent to the placing of the contract.
In December 1982 the Department of Education sent a new schedule of furniture to the Office of Public Works. Some clarification is needed on the precise number of items to be supplied to the school.
The Office of Public Works are in touch with the Department in the matter and, as soon as the exact details are settled, tenders will be invited for the outstanding balance of furniture authorised for the school.
