, Limerick East): The Garda authorities indicate that the patrol car was not immediately available when the request was received and that, in any case, the rules governing the use of official Garda transport preclude the use of the patrol car for the purpose for which it was sought on the occasion in question. That information was given in a letter, dated 7 February 1983, from my Department to the person concerned.
