: I have already informed the Deputy in my reply to his question on 26 January 1983 that it is understood from the chairman that the board of management has agreed in principle to an extension of one classroom at Letterfrack national school, County Galway.
It is further understood that the board, in view of the cost, has reservations about going ahead with the project immediately. The position will be kept under review and the project will be allowed to proceed when the chairman advises my Department that he is in a position to provide the cost of the local contribution from local sources.
