asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a new house grant and a mortgage subsidy have not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and when payment will be made.
: The file in this case is with the inspector for investigation and report with a view to payment of a grant if in order. A grant cannot be paid until the inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and all other conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with.
Payment of the first phase of the subsidy can only be made following the receipt from the applicant of the appropriate claim form.
