asked the Minister for Education the progress made to date in relation to the planning and provision of an extension to the boys national school at Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

It is proposed to replace the present boy's national school at Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny, by a new school building. A report on the suitability of the site offered by the school authorities is awaited from the Commissioners of Public Works.

asked the Minister for Education when work will commence on the extension to Boardsmill national school, Trim, County Meath.

A grant was sanctioned on 19 July 1982 towards the cost of the proposed extension to Boardsmill (Batterstown) national school, County Meath. The further planning arrangements leading up to the invitation of tenders are a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works. It is not possible at this stage to say when building may commence.
