asked the Taoiseach if he will state in respect of the Law Reform Commission (a) the annual subvention since its establishment (b) the number of staff employed at present; (c) the number and title of each of the reports published by it since its establishment; and (d) the titles of forthcoming publications, if any.

(a) The annual subventions to the Law Reform Commission since its establishment in October 1975 were as follows:—

(d) The future publications of the commission will deal with those matters on the Commission's First Programme (or referred to the commission by the Attorney General) in respect of which reports have not already been published. The programme was laid by the Taoiseach before both Houses of the Oireachtas on 4 January 1977. The work in hand by the commission at a particular time is set out in the Annual Reports of the Commission. The Annual Report for the year 1982 will be available shortly.
