The IDA, working with the receiver to Food Products (Donegal) Ltd., have had contact with a substantial number of companies and individuals, both within Ireland and overseas, with a view to having the Donegal factory taken over as a going concern. As these contacts were made by the IDA on a confidential basis it would be inappropriate to name the companies and individuals concerned or to give details of the discussions which took place.
The IDA are at present engaged in active discussions with several interested parties.
