I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the car in question was seized by Customs on the grounds that it was imported illegally into the State. The circumstances of the case have been explained to the Deputy in a letter sent to him on 20 April 1983, in reply to representations made by him to the Revenue Commissioners.
