Preliminary investigations have indicated that the roof of Clonbur national school, County Galway, is in an advanced state of decay. Further investigations are in hand to determine the extent of the remedial work required and the cost involved, which is expected to be considerable. A report will be made to the Department before the end of this month.
It is not possible to say at this stage when work will commence.
