asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the long delay in paying a group fodder grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry having regard to the assurance given in a previous reply to a parliamentary question tabled by Deputy John O'Leary that payment would be made shortly.

The reply to the previous parliamentary question in this case indicated that payment of the grant would be made on receipt of the necessary certification from the local ACOT office. The documents have now been received from ACOT but the grant cannot be paid as purchase of the machine in question has not been properly vouched.
