, Limerick East:) The precise arrangements for policing particular areas are a matter for the Garda authorities. They have informed me that the areas mentioned in the question, which are part of the Ballymacarberry sub-district, are receiving constant attention.
They have also informed me, that apart from the service provided by the local station, the areas also receive attention from mobile patrols operating from Lismore garda station and from the district headquarters at Dungarvan. The special task force unit at Dungarvan and mobile units from Cahir also visit the areas during the course of their duties.
