asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reasons the telephone service being received in Ballyboughal industrial estate, Ballyboughal, County Dublin, has been so bad for the past seven months.
The quality of telephone service in Ballyboughal was badly affected by extensive flooding late last year which led to major disruption of service in the area, in common with numbers of other areas in North County Dublin.
The widespread nature of the flooding led to delays in restoring service. Following a special programme of preventative maintenance earlier this year the service to Ballyboughal is now reasonably satisfactory.
