A claim for retirement pension was received from the person concerned on 27 May 1983 and details of his Irish insurance record were sent to the Department of Health and Social Security on 8 June 1983.
He had a yearly average of 27 qualifying contributions from 5 January 1953 to 5 April 1983 and will qualify for an Irish retirement pension at the rate appropriate to this average with effect from 7 July 1983 i.e. the Thursday following his 65th birthday. The Department will write to him regarding this award.
