(Dún Laoghaire): Imports of sugar confectionary including chocolate and chocolate goods were valued at £40.2 million in 1980, £48.4 in 1981 and £53.8 million in 1982.
May I ask the Minister of State what steps he proposes to take to protect the Irish sugar industry?
