asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider selling at a nominal price the old school house at Carrickboy, Ballyshannon, County Donegal, to the Catholic Boy Scouts of Ireland, 14th Donegal, Ballyshannon, for use as a scouts den; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Commissioners of Public Works have agreed to dispose of the State's interest in Carrickboy former national school to the Catholic Boy Scouts of Ireland. A local unit of the boy scouts have recently made an offer for the State's interest in the property. The Commissioners of Public Works have made a counter offer to the boy scouts and they hope that this will be acceptable to them.
