In the period from 1 January 1983 to 28 June 1983 receivers have been appointed in the case of 58 companies. Formal claims in respect of that part of unpaid taxes which rank as preferential debts have not yet been agreed in all cases nor is it clear to what extent the claims, when agreed, will be met. It is not possible, therefore, at this stage to provide the information requested by the Deputy.
