This application has been refused. Grants were not allowable in respect of the provision of a chimney, water, sewerage or bathroom facilities as these facilities already existed in the house. Grants were not allowable either in respect of an additional bedroom as no overcrowding existed or in respect of works to the basic fabric of the house as no such works were considered necessary for grant purposes. The applicant has been so informed.
