I presume the Deputy is referring to proposals recently put forward by the Commission of the European Communities for the promotion of the development of solid fuels. These proposals will be considered at a meeting of the Council of Energy Ministers which it is anticipated will take place on 12 July 1983 in Brussels. Pending the outcome of this meeting, it would be premature to formulate any schemes designed to avail of any Community funding for solid fuels which may eventually emerge.
