Limerick East): The precise arrangements for policing particular areas are a matter for the Garda authorities. They have informed me that the Beaumont area, which is part of the Santry Garda sub-district is receiving constant attention.
They have also informed me that 13 extra gardaí and two extra sergeants have been allocated to Santry station since January 1983, and the question of further increasing the strength will be considered according as the additional gardaí currently in training become available for assignment.
