Limerick East): I am informed by the Garda authorities that they received complaints last year alleging malpractices in relation to the tendering process for a National Building Agency housing development at Abbeyquarter, County Sligo. A report was submitted by the Garda to the law officers who directed that further action was not warranted. I should add that I have no function in relation to the institution or non-institution of criminal proceedings.
