The number of ex-quota remedial teachers in post-primary schools in the school year 1982-83 was as follows: secondary, 80; vocational, 100; community, 15; comprehensive, 5.
Information in statistical form is not available in relation to the extent to which teachers in post-primary schools not appointed on an ex-quota basis are engaged in remedial work.
